Step by step

From the enquiry to the teardown.

  1. Enquiry

Date, occasion, venue, number of guests.

Via the form or by email to mail@eventdjs.berlin. The more you already know (times, programme items, equipment on site), the more precise the quote. We check the date and usually reply on the same working day. If your date is taken, we tell you immediately.

  2. Quote

In writing, net, all items listed separately.

You receive a quote with DJ, playing time, equipment, extension per hour, travel and setup in Berlin included. Plus an information sheet and the technical rider for your venue. We always offer a phone or video call if you have questions or need to present the quote internally.

  3. Option

    Reserved for fourteen days.

You need approval from management or purchasing? The date is reserved for you for fourteen days from the date of the quote. During this time we follow up politely but do not push. After that the date is free again without you having to cancel.

  4. booking

The signed quote is the booking.

You send us the signed quote and we confirm the date. The signed quote is your order confirmation with all services, times, payment and cancellation terms; no additional contract is needed. There is no deposit; the invoice comes after the event, or in advance on request.

  5. Briefing

    Occasion, schedule, audience, music.

Phone or video call, also via your conferencing tool, or in person in Berlin on request. We clarify programme items, speeches, age range, desired volume per phase, corporate framework, no-gos and, if available, your wish list. From this the music concept emerges: subtle at the reception, supportive at dinner, full on the dance floor. You do not have to build a playlist.

  6. Technical check

    Directly with your venue.

We clarify directly with the venue or technical crew what is on site, what we bring, when we set up and how much space is needed. You do not have to mediate.

  7. The evening

    One contact until the teardown.

Your DJ is there before your guests, keeps to the schedule, hands the microphone to speakers, works in guest requests to fit and is available until the teardown. A spontaneous extension is possible if the venue allows it, €150 net per hour.

In case something comes up

Plan B with your documents.

If your DJ is unable to play, the other one of us takes over if he is free that day. He knows your planning because the quote, briefing and rider are documented together. If both are booked, a colleague from our Berlin network steps in with the same documents. You will be informed immediately.

Do we need a contract?

The signed quote is your binding order confirmation, with everything a contract would otherwise contain. An additional document is not needed.

Can the times still change?

Yes. Let us know and we will adjust the quote.

What happens in case of cancellation?

The quote covers it. The terms are stated openly there. More on this in the blog: Contract, payment and cancellation.
